The bride meeting, or svozhdane as it is called in Bosnia and herzegovina, has some customs that are a part of the government’s lifestyle. They reflect the multiethnic context of the state and the intricate way of life in it. The wedding lasts for three days and nights, and it’s attended by the overall town. Girls and women help to prepare meals for guests, bake pies and wheat, clean maize in the fields, and sing musical songs. Guys sing banjos and cifteli and throw marijuana to associates.
